- Have a hierarchy of values that govern your decisions.
- No matter what, make time to give GOD praise. Honor HIM in your life and HE will grant you grace and mercy when you need it the most.
- Have a plan, you can't wait for war to build your army. create an exit strategy that is non-negotiable because it's not a matter of when it all falls down but when.
- No matter how hard it gets don't allow your spirit to be broken. Don't allow failure to get to your heart and don't allow success to get to your head.
- Take ownership and accountability for your actions and when given the opportunity do what is necessary and beneficial to right your wrongs.
- Place more value on your life, when you do so, you will make better choices for your future. Trust people to be who they are and don't allow the unwillingness of those around you to change to cause you to go back to your old ways.
- Manage your expectations and emotions, when you are working to change your life, you are likely to experience many challenges. Don't give up when it gets hard. On the other side of what is hard is change.
- Be willing to do a new thing and accept that the life you are pursuing will be very different from the life you've experienced.
